This is what lies beyond the green painted hoardings of the Bradford Urban Garden. These excavations and foundations were started several years ago, then the recession hit and everything was put on hold. The site is referred to by most Bradfordians as 'The Hole'.
That's a shame.
ReplyDeleteI and I guess many people that live in or near Bradford have some doubt that this scheme will ever go ahead. I find it incredible that one of the prime movers for this scheme Cllr Margaret Eaton has not so long ago been made a peer of the realm, having been made a DBE for services to local government. You could not make this up!
