World Fairtrade Day - Bradford

Volunteers were out and about in the city centre today raising awareness of the Fairtrade movement as part of World Fairtrade Day.  Buying Fairtrade produce ensures that farmers and workers in developing countries receive a fair price for their goods, better working conditions and a premium to improve the community that they live in.

  1. Let's keep this mirror pool to reflect justice, both in Bradford and for those who produce food for us to enjoy.

  2. Well done Martin!
Are you in contact with the Bradford Peace Museum on Piece Hall Yard?
They display all manner of photos on the subject of Justice and Peace, especially if they are Bradford-centred! Keep spreading the word of how WE can help to establish fair pay for all, especially the world's poorest!
