Bradford Sound Artists
A picture from a Bradford Sound Artist gathering at Assembly Bradford a few days ago. Members of the group have an interest in sound, electronic music, field recording and improvisation. I'm a member of the group, and probably the only non musician, I do enjoy field recording though.

The Factory King
A bronze statue of Richard Oastler who campaigned against the employment of young children working in the textile mills of Bradford for up to thirteen hours a day. The three ton statue by John Birnie Philip was paid for by national public subscription and originally stood in Forster Square but now stands at the back of North Parade.

Al's Dime Bar - Open Mic Night
A New York style bar in Bradford with an irresistible combination of American style beers, cocktails and live music, that's Al's Dime Bar on North Parade. I went along on open mic night and really enjoyed listening to some of the talented local musicians performing there, some young and some maybe not so young, a great evening out.
