Bradford is Lit - City Hall

Projection onto City Hall, part of the Bradford is Lit festival.  The work Worstedopolis by artist Ronan Devlin connects the city's industrial textile past with its digital future.

Phenix - Bradford is Lit

A giant bird sculpture entitled Phenix, part of the two day Bradford is Lit festival.  I couldn't find much information on the sculpture apart from the fact that it's ten metres tall, I'm not sure that fact is correct, it may be that the wingspan is ten metres.

Monolith - BD is Lit

Monolith, part of BD is Lit, a two day festival of light and sound in the city centre.  The huge monolith represents our connection with screens, constantly changing, and then suddenly disappearing,  It's apparently inspired by the monolith in filmmaker Stanley Kubrick's film 2001 a space odyssey, which strangely enough I saw when it came out at the Odeon Cinema which is now the Bradford Live building in the background of the picture.

Autumn Leaves

I went for a walk in the woods this morning, it was foggy.  I was expecting the sun to break through the fog, but it didn't.  There were some nice autumn colours though.
